Dumpster Dive is a data visualization exhibition that sheds light on on global food wastage and global diets. The exhibition compares data three data sets: a global average daily diet, a sustainable recommended daily diet, and daily global food wastage. The data visualization clearly shows that humanity is wasting food from the food groups we should be eating the most of, with vegetables and grains being wasted the most. Using a bar graph system the exhibition shows viewers the numerical of food being wasted and what amount of food they should be eating to be healthy and sustainable.
